The wizards of my country and the diviners of Egypt, have pronounced that I am deftined to be king of all the world ; but the place I would moll willingly vifit is Ropae ; for, in ancient times, it formed part of our inheritance ; and our predeceflbrs have conquered and govern-ed it feveral times.
